Where Curiosity Meets Clinical Rigour

Established in 2007, the Department of Psychology at Government First Grade College, Yelahanka — affiliated to Bengaluru City University — has grown into one of the college's most sought-after departments, known for its blend of theoretical depth and hands-on applied training.

We follow the Choice Based Credit System (as per SEP), built around the practical realities of psychological practice — psychometric testing labs, supervised practicals, field visits to NIMHANS, and close mentoring from faculty with active clinical and research backgrounds.

Our graduates go on to careers in clinical psychology, counselling, human resources, special education, and research — carrying a strong ethical grounding and a genuinely curious approach to the human mind.
